Air Zoo Kalamazoo MI

 We stayed local today 30 miles north of us is Kalamazoo, MI.  Hubby has never been to the Air  Zoo located in Kalamazoo and right by the Airport there.  A lot of history dealing with War planes,  history of some of the wars and how they worked with the indians as no one could break there Code.

                                              They can shoot from these guns and more, out the back and side.

                                            

                                         Sue Parish was a women Air Force Pilot.  

                                     Sue and her husband Pete Parish started the Air Zoo.  

                                          Anything from older bi planes to Astronauts and capsule.  

                                            History on all Black military history,  

                

                                                 My husband's favorite as always, the Engine!  

                                                     What can I say he is a Diesel Mechanic.

Wisconsin Iron Mining 2023

Iron Minning in Wisconsin Sauk, Dodge and Jackson Counties in Southern part of the state....

This display was at a Pull Off not far from Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Just keep an eye out on those Pull Offs their was some with a view of Lake Superior as well.

These Alligators, Crocodiles are rescues from people who thought that they were probably cute and took them home but.  This place was built to give them a safe place to live and is run by volunteers at times like when they have to put them in there winter home or bring them out.  We took our handicapped son there and he like the experience.  Bought some food for them and fed them by throwing it over the fence.

So here is a few of Crocodile, Alligator, and Turtles and some Tortoise.  Spring is here so they should be opening soon and is worth the trip with the kiddos to see them, pay extra for a guide and they will tell you about them.
